I've long forgotten that afternoon's featured attraction, but I never forgot that preview of things to come ~ That massive, malific monstrosity - that hallucinogenic horror we Americans knew as:

THE SMOG MONSTER*!

*The Japanese call it "Hedora"or, in the words of a real Japanese Scientist, "the dirty decaying part of sewage". Apparently, my mind has been in the gutter ever since....
